Roswell Delirium is an emotionally charged 1980s science fiction thriller film set in an alternate 1980s in which the United States is hit by a wave of nuclear attacks and, in the aftermath, those left behind pretend that everything is normal even though they are all subjected to radiation poisoning. A young girl named Mayday attempts to contact her father, who is in space on a space shuttle mission, via a series of amateur radio stations. Instead of making contact, she receives an intergalactic distress call from space that takes her on a journey to Spacerock, the land that once housed Area 51. She is exposed to severe levels of radiation and within days, all of her organs begin to fail. Knowing that treatment will not help, her mother Wendy takes her back to Spacerock to hand her over to the aliens in the hopes that they can save her.
