In a mysterious and surreal interstellar zone somewhere between Tehran and Winnipeg, the lives of several characters intertwine in surprising and mysterious ways. Elementary school students Negin and Nazgol find a sum of money frozen in winter ice and attempt to retrieve it. Meanwhile, Massoud leads a group of increasingly confused tourists through the sights and historic sites of Winnipeg. Matthew leaves his meaningless job at a government office in Quebec and embarks on a mysterious journey to find his mother. Space, time, and personal identities intertwine, intersect, and echo in a surreal comedy of misdirection.
