It’s an updated version of the classic story
The Day of the Jackal is as good as it gets. The series is about an elite assassin sniper (Eddie Redmayne) who goes by the nickname The Jackal.
He’s a highly trained assassin who is also a master of disguise
He’s offered a job that’s so lucrative that he could retire, but the job is risky, especially when a ruthless British intelligence officer named Bianca (Lashana Lynch) is on his trail. She pursues him across Europe as he tries to carry out his mission.
There are many casualties along the way as the two go head-to-head
Their personal lives begin to intersect with their work as they begin to realize that other forces are pulling the strings. While some parts drag on for 10 episodes, the series has plenty of action and drama to keep you entertained.
