government agencies, including those in the intelligence community and the Department of Defense, the correct/official explanation of the acronym “OBE” is “Overtaken by Events.” The opening credits feature characters and scenes from the series interspersed with mirrored panels. Former CIA counterintelligence director James Jesus Angleton, also known as the “spy poet,” described the intelligence game as “The Desert of Mirrors,” a phrase borrowed from a poem by T.S. Eliot titled Gerontion (the title is Greek for “little old man,” and the poem is an interior monologue recounting the opinions and impressions of an elderly man describing post-World War I Europe through the eyes of a man who lived most of his life in the 19th century).
For the acting overall I give it an 8/10
In the world of intelligence, in the search for truth, it is difficult to distinguish reality from its reflection, an illusion, if you will, as if we were in a “Hall of Mirrors.” Featured in Graham Norton and guests: Cher/ Keira Knightley/ Michael Fassbender/ Josh Brolin/ Jaylen Ngonda (2024). The highlight of The Agency is Michael Fassbender, a great actor and convincing in his role as a field agent who returns home after being undercover for so long. Even the smaller characters have done a good job so far (apart from those smaller characters who are trying to be smart).
The soundtrack is good
The story is nothing new, but there are a few plot lines that intertwine, I’m not sure where they will lead at the end of the second episode. So it’s nice to be unpredictable. Nice touch with the song -Love is Blindness.
It looked like a good movie
You can see that a good budget was invested, obviously with the film actors this is obvious, but even more so with the locations chosen and how some of the action sequences were shot. I liked it, but I may be biased, Michael Fassbender is one of my favorite actors. I can’t wait to see the next one.
