Chronology

Seasons 1 through 4 were pretty much perfect, there’s not much to say. There were so many great moments, so many great episodes. But then… well, the writers ran out of books to adapt. Seasons 5 and 6 were pretty boring for the most part.

But they did have their moments, including some of the best episodes of the series. In season 7 you could really see the drop in quality. Everything felt so rushed that most of it was really stupid. Season 8 is the biggest disappointment I have ever seen. I have never seen anything more terrible.

The ending was the stupidest thing I have ever seen. All the characters were so stupid. And all the characters were basically ruined by the writing. Overall, I still give it a 9/10 just because of the first half of the series. And of course it still had its moments.
This is truly a must watch series
I would still consider this series a masterpiece and I recommend it 100%.
