Jude Law in “Skeleton Crew” plus more stars from a galaxy far, far away
Chronology
Four children make a mysterious discovery on their home planet that leads to them becoming lost in a strange and dangerous galaxy. The holographic circus that entertains Neel’s young siblings is the same one Chewbacca’s family sees in the infamous Star Wars Holiday Special (1978).

Knowing this series will get a lot of hate due to the ups and downs of the last Star Wars series, I’m happy to say this is a rebound. So far…
Again, nothing new, but still intriguing and I look forward to watching more
The first two episodes don’t break any new ground nor are they very original, but that’s not a problem as they do well in everything. The cast and their acting are great, the costume/set design is probably the best we’ve seen since Andor, the script, especially the hilarious banter between the kids, was good.
It gives me strong Treasure Planet vibes
As someone who hasn’t enjoyed the last Star Wars myself, I was surprised by Skeleton Crew. I hope anyone who is slightly interested or even annoyed by recent shows gives it a chance.
Don’t let the “for kids” talk scare you away
Star Wars is made for everyone, and that goes for this series too. Refresh your watchlist with the latest slate of streaming movies and TV shows on Disney+, including old favorites and top-notch newcomers.
